A madman once told me that the things I say have relevance, so I decided to write them down on this site.
This blog is ostensibly about technology and society. I created this site in part because of Cory Doctorow’s description of the Internet as “Five Giant Websites Filled with Screenshots of the Other Four.” I figured I could do the minimum to fight back against this phenomenon and create an “old-school” blog.
Doctorow’s speeches have inspired my writing, this blog project, and my vision of what the Internet and modern technology ought to be. If you don’t get anything out of this blog, at least watch his DEFCON talks:
